Two months after our first meeting, Jill has lost 14 pounds, feels not only better, but more confident about herself, and knows she is on the road to a better life. She attributes much of her success to avoiding the hidden food allergies she did not know she had.

With 2010 just around the corner, most of us will be making our New Year’s Resolutions. Inevitably, most people will once again say they want to lose weight and/or feel healthier. How did you do in 2009?  If you fell short, then you may want to read this testimonial and take notes…

In July 2009, Sue decided she needed to find a solution to her headaches, weight problem, and overall lack of well being. The dizziness, vomiting, and diarrhea that came with her headaches twice a month were getting old. She got some relief with a couple medications if they were taken at the right moment, but she didn’t want to take the meds that only covered up the symptoms and were not solving a problem. She was also a bit frustrated about her weight gain. Through a referral from her neighbor, Sue heard about us and the rest is history.

Sue has not has a headache since starting her program in July and now has an “overall feeling of well.” By October she went from a size 12 to a size 8. Today, Sue is working at maintaining her new body and newfound health. She (and her family) couldn’t be happier.

Stephanie W. knew her health was on the decline and that she could be feeling a lot better. She saw people around her who were patients of MHWC making positive lifestyle changes and reaping the health rewards.  She wanted that for herself. The months of not sleeping because of hot flashes, suffering from irritable bowel, medicating herself to try and help her cholesterol and thyroid numbers, and being overweight and not fitting into her clothes were taking their toll on how she felt inside and out.

Stephanie decided enough was enough and began her journey to better health in May 2008. After listening to her situation and concerns, we looked at how her body was functioning as a whole. It was determined that a detoxification program and making some lifestyle modifications would be the right course of action. Stephanie admits her initial thoughts of making these changes were almost frightening, but within 10 days, she began feeling completely better. She then realized that the program really wasn’t nearly as bad as she thought it would be. Within 24 days, she had lost 11 pounds and was able to fall asleep easily, without terrible hot flashes.

Stephanie now has a new outlook on life and realizes “the things we used to do, or what we were taught, are not always the best thing for us.”  She still cannot believe the good results she has achieved and highly recommends the holistic approach at MHWC to others who may be suffering from unnecessary illness.
